Research Work

Current Focus

I am currently focused on Machine Learning, particularly in the area of Deepfake Detection. My research aims to develop innovative techniques for identifying and mitigating the effects of deepfakes in multimedia content.

Previous Contributions

1. Group Data Sharing and Auditing while Securing Sensitive Information (February 2020)

  • Publisher: Springer (Conference Proceedings)
  • Indexing: Springer Nature, SCOPUS
  • Authors: Shubham Singh and Deepti Aggarwal
  • Abstract: This paper proposes a scheme for securing sensitive data in files shared among a group of cloud users. It utilizes a block design-based key agreement protocol and identity-based blind signatures to verify data integrity. The performance analysis demonstrates that the scheme is both efficient and stable.

2. Integrity Checking using Third Party Auditor in Cloud Storage (August 2018)

  • Publisher: IEEE Xplore (Conference Proceedings)
  • Indexing: SCOPUS, DBLP
  • Authors: S. Chakraborty, S. Singh, and S. Thokchom
  • Abstract: This paper introduces a method for integrity checking through a third-party auditor using bilinear pairing. Aggregation is applied for further optimization, enhancing the efficiency of the scheme.

3. Ensuring Data Security in Cloud Storage (August 2018)

  • Publisher: International Journal of Machine Learning and Computing (Journal)
  • Indexing: Inspec (IET), Google Scholar, Crossref, ProQuest, Electronic Journals Library, CNKI, SCOPUS
  • Authors: Shubham Singh and Akhilendra Pratap Singh
  • Abstract: This paper outlines a method to ensure data privacy and integrity in cloud storage using a combination of SHA-2 and AES algorithms. It guarantees that only authorized users can access the data.

4. Public Integrity Auditing for Shared Dynamic Cloud Data (December 2017)

  • Publisher: Elsevier (Journal)
  • Indexing: Conference Proceedings Citation Index, Engineering Village – GEOBASE, INSPEC, Scopus
  • Authors: Shubham Singh and Surmila Thokchom
  • Abstract: This paper proposes a secure remote data auditing scheme based on vector commitment, identity-based ring signatures, and a group key agreement protocol. The scheme shows improved efficiency when compared to other existing methods.
